The History of General Fleischer

Carl Gustav Fleischer's name is primarily associated with his efforts during the campaign in Norway 1940.  He became the first Allied general to defeat the German army during World War II in a major land battle. His fate in exile from 1940 to 1942 is now emerging as one of the darkest chapters in the history of the Norwegian government in exile, in London, during World War II.
